Through our workshop and field service, Cougar Mining Group provides on-site and underground diesel equipment service, maintenance, repairs and Code D’s.
Based in Tomago, our team of 28 highly qualified staff in our Workshop and Field Service division has been structured to create a one stop shop for all underground diesel mechanical needs. The workshop is not only structured with repair bays but also includes a Code D mechanical bay, machining and boiler making areas, a Non Destructive Testing specialist and a Light Vehicle service and repair bay.

ROAR Supercharger Upgrade
Cougar ROAR Supercharger upgrade is here
Cougar Mining Group as the owner of the largest privately owned Jug-A-0 hire fleet compelled by the constant failures and lack of a solution from the OEM embarked on a project to develop a new supercharger drive system that would both reduce the cost of ownership and restore the reliability and reputation of the Jug-A-0 loader.
The ROAR supercharger system has been proven through extensive in-service testing of 5 loaders (5700 total hours) with no failures.
The system is now MDR approved from the NSW DPI and can be fitted and operated in all NSW and Queensland coal mines.
We would like to thank Ashton coal mine for their support during the trial.
And advise that we are now able to offer this solution to any Jug-A-0 owner to improve their reliability and costs.
